I've been going to Romano's for years now, and it's my favourite Italian restaurant. I'm good friends with the chef, Toni, and he's the best around!
The ambience is just right — warm, relaxed, and the kind of spot where you can sit back and actually enjoy your evening without any fuss. The food is consistently excellent, but those prawns are unbelievable. I've had them more times than I can count and they never let me down.
I really enjoy the wine here, and the odd Peroni always hits the spot. Then in the summer, Toni makes his own limoncello concoction that's only available then, and it's amazing. It just rounds off the whole meal perfectly.
After all these years it's more than just a restaurant to me. Every visit feels easy and familiar, like catching up with someone who knows exactly what you like. I wouldn't go anywhere else for Italian-Sicilian.

Doing Italian in Ireland is a tough act and kudos to Toni and crew for the excellent attempt. Great serving staff and food was good. Please deep clean the place inside and out. Lots of you kids free for the summer who would love a few hours work. The whole place needs this TLC immediately. Will continue to support local initiative and restaurants, but do spruce up. It's jaded looking from the outside.

Woww ..the food was super good, it was what I expected from an Italian restaurant, taste, refinement, elegance on the plates. Honestly I found the restaurant online and I knew I wouldn't regret it. TONY, man you are phenomenal, you cooked 3 different dishes in a short time and served all 3 at the same time, it's amazing and we thank you. And the ending was unexpected, we started a conversation about us and about you and we thank you for your kindness. Those of you who read these words, I recommend RISTORANTE ROMANO with the greatest confidence, you won't regret it. Congratulations to the chef Tony. With respect, Mihaiela, Marin and Alin.
