River Cafe in Dublin

Lovely cafe in Lucan village, service was friendly and perfect, food was delicious.

I visited today, again ❤️ I love their coffee, food, cleanliness, how nice they are and a wonderful atmosphere ❤️💕❤️

Really nice place! Servers are very nice, and it's set inside a beautiful building. The food is delicious. I'm from the southern United States, and some of the food tasted very similar to how my mama makes it. We had the french toast and the full irish breakfast - they were both amazing. Very well cooked and nicely seasoned, and quite reasonably priced! Flat white coffees were prepared perfectly as well.

There was a table available at walk-in during the weekend morning. The prices are OK. Food was good while presentation could do with some work. The staff were friendly but felt like they were somehow understaffed, it took a while to give our order. Staff never went around the floor to see if anyone wanted to order anything else but perhaps that's not their setup. The cafe has a lovely interior and some al fresco seating (though it is road-facing). Smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and the avocado toast were both good.

This place has a lovely atmosphere and great service. The three of us came in for scones and cappuccinos. The scones were tasty and the cappuccinos beautifully presented. I'm a guy and yet found the decor tasteful and engaging.
