Riverbank Restaurant in Tullow

Lovely restaurant overlooking restaurant River, I had chicken stuffed with cream cheese and spinach. Absolutely lovely, so full of flavour. Not expensive, staff very friendly and efficient. Toilets clean. All in all 💯.

Everything was great. Sharon made us and our toddler happy. Food was fresh, homemade taste-delicious-desserts were also amazing 100% recommended

Food was nice. Staff were slaying and nice. One thing though, a plant on the wall was slightly crooked. It annoyed me. All in all, best place in Tullow.

Ate here 14/01/24 and was very impressed! Brought our twin girls (23months) with us and no issues with baby chairs. Staff are very nice and food was really good! Prices are very good too, will be back soon.

Lunch with a very old friend whom I had not seen since Covid and The River Bank was a lovely place to have lunch and sit and chat. The staff were excellent, very friendly and professional. The menu had plenty of choice with lunch specials. Food came quickly and was tasty. I had the fish and my friend had the roast beef, both were lovely. We had a tea and a coffee after and I had a mineral and it came to 39 euros approx. There is a lovely outside dining area which I can imagine is really nice in the summer months. The restaurant is situated in a corner of two roads so outside space might be noisy with cars passing. They have seating on ground floor and more seating upstairs with bathrooms and a disabled bathroom downstairs. There is not much parking on the road outside especially at school times but there is a big car park about 3/4 minutes walk away so it is no problem for parking. Enjoyed my lunch and would definitely return if I was in the area again.

130pm Saturday 13th Jan 24. I had chicken n ham pie and lemon meringue pie. Wife had lasagne and pavlova. All excellent food and vert reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Felt sorry for the one waitress not enough staff ,she was rushed off her feet.

First time eating here Saturday 6/1/23. It was really good food with professional and friendly service. All ingredients fresh and made to order and served promptly. The bill for two people with main courses and desserts, followed by very good coffee ,was very reasonable too. So glad we ate here. We will be back. 🙏🏼
