Small and good place for fast foods and pizza. Taste is just above average. Service is good, sufficient parking spaces are available.

Sandbar

28/07/2025: Absolutely magnificent restaurant experience at Sands Mediterranean in Clontarf. The food here is to die for...we ordered the best Frutti di Mare pizza ever with the most delicious seafood toppings, the wonderful baked hake with pasta and the freshly battered fish and chips. The garlic pizza starter went down a treat and the triple cooked chips and garlic mayo are superb. Mick and his staff are the best and so welcoming and accommodating. This was another really top notch dining experience and I highly recommend putting Sands Mediterranean on your list of restaurants to try in Clontarf. 5 stars all day long!
17/07/2025: Nice and friendly staff and the food is good. Triple cooked chips the best potatoes I have ever eaten! We enjoyed our visit! Thanks

Basil

25/05/2026: Honestly surprised, I had to kill some time between seeing people for work. I didn't expect much, just to stop my hunger. I got the ham and cheese toastie with crisps/garlic dip. The price is the norm for Dublin which still feels a bit pricey but honestly is just the cost of business at this point, I understand that. The sandwich was genuinely delicious, it was served quickly and the dip was stellar. The staff were lovely and the interior while tiny has your typical chairs and table and a lovely comfy looking couch setup. In a world of often mediocre lunch options, this has mentally been added to definitely try again and the rest of their menu.
14/05/2026: I visited Little Basil and have a few comments, but ultimately, the overwhelming impression is positive. It's a place with great potential, especially in terms of accessibility and service. ♿️ Accessibility: A huge plus for the lack of architectural barriers. The café has no steps or thresholds, making it very easy to navigate. There is no accessible bathroom. 🚾 Sanitary Infrastructure: Although the premises are flat and accessible, there is no accessible bathroom (the standard division into men's and women's restrooms is available). 🚼 No baby changing table. 🍀 Outdoor Area: A very pleasant outdoor space, perfect for warmer days. 🚺 Customer Service: The service is polite and helpful. A major advantage is the ability to report allergies – the staff is happy to adapt dishes to specific dietary needs. Atmosphere: From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by delicious aromas that create a homey atmosphere. ☕️ Coffee: I'd rate the Americano a solid 6/10. It's okay, but nothing special compared to the competition. A great place for a casual get-together, especially if you're looking for a place with easy access and a flexible menu. The coffee is decent, though I hope it will impress me more on my next visit!
