Rudys Restaurant in Dublin

I do not leave reviews very often, but Rudy’s was worth it. We were recommended this spot by a customer service agent at another store who said they had great food, and they were absolutely right. We stopped in for dinner on our last night in Dublin, and it was amazing. The food was top notch, the portions were filling, and the service made the whole experience memorable. The gentleman working and the young woman on staff were both so kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made us feel right at home. This ended up being one of the best restaurants we visited on our trip. It is clearly a favorite among locals, and even though we were staying near the airport, it was easy to get to. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Dublin.

Great little restaurant in Blancherstown village in Ireland with gluten free options. We were on holidays in Ireland when we visited this place & we're very surprised. Service & atmosphere was superb.

Some nice vegetarian options on the menu for main course but would have liked more options, I ordered a mushroom dish which was incredibly tasty. Fabulous cocktail menu , enjoyed a few mojito's . Staff where really nice and friendly . Decor and atmosphere was georgous. Really liked this restaurant.

Unfortunately, our visit wasn’t worth the price. We didn’t want to undermine the chef when it came to the cut of fillet steak, but it seemed far too thin and not lean enough to be a true fillet. My sirloin was decent, but nothing to rave about. Both steaks were cooked well, but the plates were let down by accompaniments — garlic butter was cold and solid, chips were lukewarm, and the potatoes with the fillet didn’t taste fresh. The French onion soup starter, however, was excellent, and the cocktails and mocktails were lovely. Unfortunately these weren't enough to distract us from the mains. Service was also a real highlight. The young gentleman who looked after us (and the front-of-house who welcomed us) had a wonderful manner, giving those extra touches you remember. I sincerely hope you're paying your ground staff well because they were the best part of the evening. Had the food been stronger, the service alone would have brought us back. But the reality is the food did not match the bill. Two steaks costing over €70 felt like poor value, especially when I’ve had far better for literally half the price. My wife and I genuinely thought Rudy’s would deliver as we read plenty of top tier reviews, but the main courses were bland and forgettable, leaving me unconvinced her steak was actually fillet. What compounded the main course lacking lustre was the fact that it was served to us below temperature. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially when most seem to have had better experiences, but we left lighter in the pocket and dissatisfied. We won’t be returning, though we do hope the restaurant can accept this feedback in the spirit it’s given — those steaks were simply not worthy of their price tags.

Rudy’s has quickly become our favorite spot in Blanchardstown. Every visit has been a treat. The food is fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent. The staff is attentive. Special thanks to Angelo, who made our meals extra memorable with his outstanding service. Can't recommend this place enough!

A good spot with excellent food and incredible service. Very attentive staff. One star knocked off because many of the cocktails advertised on the website weren't available in person which is why I chose this restaurant.

Rocked up no booking, place busy, waitress was lovely said they would squeeze us in but food could be up to 30min to order. So honest and up front. Sat had a drink, orders taken in thirty, two perfect steaks arrived shortly after. One of the best steaks I’ve had. Service good, food good and in this weather with the doors open atmosphere was lovely!! Well worth a visit.

Tasty, fresh dishes. Nice size portions. Well presented. Friendly staff.

Great food and good customer service

The food in Rudy's was exceptional. We were in a group of five, all with different meal choices, and rave reviews from all. The restaurant was busy, so there was a bit of a wait for the food, which is understandable. We were near the kitchen and could hear, what I assume, were the extractor fans, which made it difficult to talk at times. Additionally, the restaurant was quite cold, and could be uncomfortable at times. Overall an enjoyable experience.
