Rye River Cafe in Kilcock

Amazing coffee and the best food in town! No wonder they were voted the best in Kildare! I would definitely recommend it to everyone! Staff is amazing as well!!

Great food and service. The cafe is nice too. I thought the prices are a bit too much. I had the same for slightly cheaper in salthill in Galway! Kilcock is no salthill that’s for sure. Can’t fault the food and portions though.

What an amazing find! We were driving through the cute little village of Kilcock when we came across Rye River Cafe, beautifully situated inside an old church — and we’re so glad we stopped! The café is decorated beautifully and has such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the service was quick and efficient, even though it felt like a really popular spot. And then there was the food… absolutely next level! I had the vegetarian breakfast, which was not only delicious but incredibly filling, with lots of flavour and a really satisfying selection. My partner had the potato cake breakfast, which was also fantastic. The coffees were fabulous too and finished off a brilliant breakfast perfectly. Beautiful setting, amazing food, great coffee and friendly service — we absolutely loved Rye River Cafe. If you’re passing through Kilcock, this little gem is definitely worth stopping for! ☕️🍳🌿⛪️

Had a lovely bowl of their seafood chowder. Also, it's amazing that they are dog friendly, felt like being back in mainland Europe. Need more dog friendly spots in Ireland.
