What a delightful place for a lunch. My wife and I both had the turkey and dressing Toasties. She added a bowl of soup and I added the wings. Everything was just what you would expect of an Irish pub. Only better. Our waitress was attentive and got the order right. I'm sure we will be back.

We grabbed a late lunch at Sally Roger’s two weeks ago and my husband is still talking about the stew! And my soup and ham and cheese toastie was amazing! We had a great experience here. Came in for a late lunch. Found a table easily and drinks and food were quick. Even though the server apologized for the wait! The food was so good and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. AND they print fun sayings on our Guinness pints! HIGHLY recommend to anyone in Trim!

1. A perfect riverside location with panoramic views: The pub is located on Bridge Street, with a balcony and beer garden overlooking the River Boyne. It offers stunning views of King John's Castle (12th century) and one of Ireland's oldest stone bridges (14th century). This makes it a popular spot for photos and relaxing—especially at sunset with a pint of Guinness in hand. 2. Live music and festival atmosphere: Sally Rogers is known for its live Irish music performances on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The pub often becomes the center of local events, including celebrations (communities, corporate events, sports broadcasts), and the friendly staff (including a "dancing bartender") create a warm, fun atmosphere. It's also dog-friendly—dogs are welcome. 3. Classic Irish cuisine with an emphasis on breakfast: The menu includes traditional dishes like all-day breakfast (around €18 for two), crispy fries, and finger food for parties. Guests praise the generous portions, excellent coffee, and Guinness, emphasizing that this is "the best breakfast in Trim." The pub is open from 10:00 a.m., perfect for a morning coffee or a late dinner (until midnight on weekends).

Coffee Works Trim

31/10/2025: Great coffee and sandwiches. Staff are very friendly and great service. Would recommend
25/10/2025: I've passed through Trim quite literally hundreds of times and never knew of the existence of The Coffee Works. It was just a fiat white and a scone, but it was a good flat white and a good scone. I'll be back.

James Griffin Pub

20/07/2025: Absolutely stunning pub.. spotless clean brilliant atmosphere. Would highly recommend
07/07/2025: Great spot in trim town centre. Very small front of house then opens up into very modern well decorated seating area at the back with 2 seperate rooms with bars for seperate rental. We visited on a Sunday. Was quiet but we stayed for several hours. Good service and great surroundings. We stayed at trim castle hotel which is 5 min walk from here. We will 100% be back. Maybe on a fri or sat next time
