Say Fish in Dublin

Reading some of the negative reviewers makes me wonder if they meant a different place. Say Fish is not a restaurant - it’s a food truck at the entrance to the East Pier in Dun Laoghaire. There’s no better seating than facing the harbour, except for the aggressive birds - the tiny ones are the worst! Suggestion: sit closer to the Dun Laoghaire Baths. I’ve been coming here for years, and the menu is simple and consistent. You have a several varieties of prawns and chips or fish and chips. The fish is well seasoned and flaky, and the chips portions are so generous I can never finish them in one go. For this much quality food I have no issue with the price. The Brazilian lads who run it are exceptionally friendly and chatty. Great after a coastal walk!

Nicest fish in chips gentleman was closed when we arrived but he opened up and still cooked the food for us after travelling in bad weather great customer service 💪🏻

Phenomenal food and great service

Fish and chips is FABULOUS, super fresh, crispy and flavourful. Customer service is appalling. 3 boys in the van, the guy cooking was really nice but the blonde young lad who served us needs a lesson in manners and anger management issues. Rude, standoffish and clearly a brat. Swearing in front of customers, wanted to charge us when there was a problem with the frier and they weren't sure if food could be made. When I went back to check I was met with a loud "do you want your food??". He was condescending to the guy cooking and was super unwelcoming. Get this little boy back to school instead of this stand. Who does he think he is?

The best fish and chips for years. I'm always anxious to arrive to them in time so my favourites are not sold out. Also the best chips you'll ever eat! 😋
