The wooden mills is a great lifestyle store, everything is of the highest quality. Great cafe on site also.

This is worth a detour. A wonderful shop and café where you can also have a good lunch. People are very friendly and helpful. You can easily spend two hours in the shop including the café. Prices seem reasonable, however the marmelade, the sauces and that stuff seems to be expensive.

Kudos to the owners and operators of Foxford Woolen Mills for breathing new life into this historic gem. You have not only preserved the Mills rich heritage but also created a vibrant hub for locals and tourists alike. The cafeterias delicious homemade offerings and the Artisans jewellery shop are fantastic additions It’s wonderful to see the Mills legacy continue and I am sure the Sisters of Charity would be thrilled to see their vision thrive in such capable hands.

10/05/2025: Absolute gem in the heart of Foxford. Really friendly cafe run by a fabulous hardworking couple, Lee Anne & Peter. They always remember our order and greet us with a smile and a chat. There's so many positives I could list for this cafe but to name just a few ... Dog Friendly Artwork - The Old Salt have very generously offered their wall space free of charge supporting local artists. Local business - They also support small local businesses by offering their shelf space and through recommendations. Great coffee and a nice selection of cakes and treats with some ice cold options during good weather. Community hub - guaranteed to meet some interesting locals and tourists alike. Perfect place to put you in a good mood. Lee Anne & Peter we are so lucky to have you. Keep doing what you're doing.

This place isn’t just a pub; it’s a proper Irish welcome wrapped in warm conversation, local charm, and that unbeatable creamy head on a pint that dreams are made of. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is effortlessly authentic. Whether you’re popping in for the perfect pint or staying for the craic, Guiry’s never misses. 10/10 would recommend, and already planning my next trip.
