Scoop in Dublin

Great shop with lots of different sweet desserts (waffle, crepes, ice cream and sundae). My boyfriend and me hat an Sundae Oreo and a waffle with Nutella and whipped cream. So delicious! Also the service was really friendly and kind even though it was really busy. 🤗 If you're around it is definitely a must. 🌸

From ice cream and crepes to sundaes, milkshakes, cakes, and everything in between, Scoop is a go-to spot for anyone with a serious sweet tooth. The famous Donnybrook queue outside says it all. Choice of flavours can appear limited and definitely not the cheapest treat in town — expect to pay around €6 for two scoops. But the creamy taste more than makes up for it. It’s a chain though, so expect to see it around outside of D4.

Across the street, the ice cream shop looks out onto a row of Tudor Revival houses, a striking contrast to Dublin’s more typical red brick terraces. From a design perspective, the black and white timber facades and steep gables immediately stand out, drawing curiosity and giving this stretch of Ranelagh a distinctly different architectural character Ferrero rocher and the strawberry are favourites btw. Pistachio one is salty!!

I love their ice-cream and the staff are always very nice
