I guess best prawns i ever had in IE. The food was nice, the ambience was calm and quiet. Really loved it. Will visit again

Our to go place for take away curry, biriani and tasty panir dishes. Great consistent food, speedy delivery and friendly staff. Goid price too. Thank you!

We eat here regularly. The food is delicious. Staff are lovely - very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend

This is an amazing fine dining restaurant. Food was great and service was fast. Atmosphere is so calm and tge staff is very nice and friendly. Must go for Indian, Nepalese cuisine

Food and service was good, but portion and prices are better if you do take out. Done in has a few more options than the take out menu (including a sizzling shrimp) though

Shanai

21/05/2026: We have been going to The Shanai as a family for decades. My parents always went for Birthdays and Anniversaries. The rest of us who live abroad love to go there on our trips back to Dublin. My Lovely Brother died in the USA and my sister in law and his son knew straight away that The Shanai was the only place to have his Irish Celebration of Life. Buffet style food was absolutely delicious. Every choice was piping hot and scrumptious. My brother loved Butter Chicken so we had this as well. Best one ever! The staff were just wonderful and looked after us beautifully. They were very attentive and polite and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for helping to make it such a special and enjoyable evening, despite the circumstances. Highly recommend The Shanai. I will see you next time I'm in Dublin.
