Pleasant local cafe. Eggs were overcooked. Streaky bacon was not cooked as much as I would have wanted. Coffee was unremarkable, but drinkable. Prices were fair.

It earns a three because it was not bad but it wasn't overwhelmingly good either. Would eat here again but it's also not a top choice. It is a decent local spot.

Asked if they could take a party of eight and the response was “Most definitely darling.” The food was excellent and the portions filled an empty stomach at an excellent price! You will enjoy it!

An old school caff. Don't expect avocado toast here. Rather it's good simple fare done very well. A real local social hub too. Lovely staff too. A neighbourhood gem

The Ramen Bar

17/07/2025: The katsu curry here is fantastic — crispy and very flavorful. We’ve come back multiple times just to have it again. The miso soup is also spot on – very savory and super comforting. And, the atmosphere is also excellent – very hidden Japanese dive bar vibes, though it can get pretty noisy in the upstairs seating. On a side note, the tonkatsu ramen didn't quite hit the mark for me – the noodles were bland and tasted floury, and the tonkotsu broth lacked a bit in flavor. Not bad, just not worth repeating. I 100% recommend going, but stick with the katsu.
