Very good fresh fish, served with a salad and fries, very good value for money, fast service and welcoming staff. I recommend if you are passing through the island 😁

My first time on the island and loved this place. There is nothing better than sitting on the benches, enjoying the seafood chowder and watching the beautiful harbour. Also enjoyed the steak and chips with bottle of red in the evening. Neil the owner of the restaurant and shop is a great island character. Will be back next summer

Cute spot right on the pier with loads of outdoor seating making it exceptionally kid friendly. Stellar service from Sean himself and a great family oriented menu.

Great feed for the price. Sells beers and ciders. Doesn’t sell the local Cape Clear Gin unfortunately. Overall, would recommend!

Avoca Café at Powerscourt

25/03/2024: Wonderful place. The flowers in spring are fantastic. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. I loved that the place is Petfriendly. Avoca Café is great, the atmosphere and food are equally wonderful. The bathroom has diaper changing, the stores are amazing. We love everything.
22/03/2024: Cafe is nice and the food is good, though quite pricey. Plenty of outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the sugarloaf mountain.

11/01/2024: Centre was closed but the site itself is just an incredible place to see...any time of year.
04/11/2023: Nice little cafe on the most South Westerly point in Ireland. Service was great and food was nice also. A wee bit expensive - €30 for a fish and chips and scampi and chips and bottle of coke and water but it’s a tourist place so can’t complain too much. Food was nice but not spectacular - I would recommend popping in for a bite to eat or a coffee if you find yourself here. The views are just out of this world - would be really nice in summer sitting outside on the picnic benches Im sure!
