Shake Dog in Galway

Loved this place! Reminded me of Steak & Shake in the states. Food was close to American but just different enough to let you know you're in Ireland! Would definitely visit again if I ever get back to Galway.

We actually went here by mistake, but we will definitely be back. The atmosphere of the American bistro is perfect, the food is amazing and the prices are okay. The local shakes are a chapter in themselves. Thick, giant, served in a stainless steel "cup", so they stay ice cold throughout the meal, and with whipped cream on top. I had a KitKat and ended up eating the large pieces of biscuit with a fork. Brčko wasn't enough for them :-⁠D On our second visit, we tried the Dot dog and the wings. Both were great again. The restaurant confirmed that it is really worth stopping here for a proper meal. By the way... They have their own ketchup and mustard on the tables. Not started. Not because they were newly added, but simply because the guests like the food as it is prepared and don't need any added sauces.

Really good food, staff is cooperative, enjoyed my dinner in this wonderful place 😀👍🏻
