I don't often get takeaways but when I do I go to shallots the food is unreal today I got the chicken madras and my husband got chicken jalfrzi the flavours are amazing I've tried other Indian takeaways and not one of them come near I would highly recommend this restaurant and also piping hot when my husband picked it up

Maguires Cafe

21/08/2026: This is a great place to buy unique gifts and items. The food and drink are top notch. The staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend a stop with or without a tour of the Hill of Tara.
13/08/2026: The gift shop is fantastic. As this was the first stop on our trip, we didn’t want to spend our entire souvenir budget right away. But boy do I regret that! No other gift shop could hold a candle to the wonderful things on offer here. We bought a handmade leather bound notebook and a book on Celtic magic and goddesses. They had beautiful local crafts, woolen items, pottery, artwork, jewellery, and a large selection of books for young and old. They even had magic wands! We also visited the cafe, it was nice and had a good selection of food. We went for veggie hash and hot chocolates.

Mountain View B&B

06/04/2026: I had an amazing experience at V&J. The view was absolutely incredible and made the whole stay even more special. What really stood out were the little details — everything was thoughtfully arranged and added a unique touch that you don’t often find. The kindness and warm welcome from the cooples made a huge difference as well. They were attentive, friendly, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back! Big thank you Kinds regard Audrey and Luca
