Still one of my all time favourites. This place delivers consistently good food and the staff are great. Any time I've been there it has been busy. Bar downstairs is staffed by real bar men who know their trade.
John often says makes his way around the tables at the weekend too which is a nice touch.
A must for a treat in my opinion.

Went in as a group of 4. Absolutely incredible experience. Friendly staff, very helpful and the food was outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection. Loved getting to meet John Shanahan as well

This is one of Dublin's finest eateries. It's a real treat. The best steak I've ever tasted, fantastic service, beautiful atmosphere, old world charm. All overlooking St. Stephens Green. Highly recommended.

The place was cute and timey and the service was good - had to knock it down on food since I would say there steaks were just average and the other food was ok as well. Was hoping to be more wowed.

Excellent and attentive service. Reasonably priced for a high end steak hour. My steak was slightly overcooked but the sides were terrific and butter and bread absolutely delicious.

One of the best restaurants in Dublin! Steaks cooked to perfection! Staff are incredible and go to any measure to ensure a 10/10 experience. Very nice touch arriving to our table with a birthday treat & Prosecco for the table!

This restaurant, right on Stephens Green is is very grand in style, an old mansion house, with plush furniture and chandeliers. Waiting staff is efficient, and pleasant enough.
This restaurant is known for its meat, so go for the steak. Beautifully cooked in a gorgeous jus.
Great wine menu.
Really enjoyed the meat here.
Prices ate very high, so be prepared!
