This is a regular haunt of ours and it never disappoints. Excellent tasty food, attentive friendly staff, quick service and very good value.
Steaks are delicious. There is a varied regular menu and they usually have some specials. I had lamb kofta on flatbread with salad and it was really good.

Shaws is a long established premises in the town village of Summerhill. Well maintained and ran premises, food is top notch, huge amount of parking space.
Hate to leave a not great review for a place I once loved, but the food has really gone downhill in the last 9-12 months. Lovely small pub in the lovely village of Summerhill, warm and cosy. Food here was always amazing, I would go whenever I had the chance, never had a bad meal, until as I said in the last 9-12 months. My parents used to go every Sunday and have since stopped also. Have given it 2-3 chances just incase I had gone on an off day but still the food just wasn’t great. Not sure what you’ve stopped doing compared to what yee used to, or new chef or recipes or what but I would love for it to go back to the way it used to! All new staff also, but the staff are all lovely that’s never changed.
