Gary really enjoyed his time at all you can eat in Shiki Waterford. He’s currently in a food coma at the minute because he dident realise that you have to pay for the food you don’t eat. Great food and friendly staff would recommend !
Great food,no wonder why the fish was next to me when I was eating the egg nigiri. You had to press buttons if you want to order, get the bill or just have water.
Overall it’s a brilliant place.
I always come here, their food is reasonably prices, and absolutely delicious. Wait staff is lovely and friendly, it's my favourite spot to both eat in or take out from, without a doubt.
Excellent service , food and atmosphere. We were served within 10 mins of ordering. Prices are reasonable so for 2 only costed around 35 euros. Would come back!
Is it possible to fall in love with sushi? Because this California roll stole my heart and then some.
Each bite was like a tiny ocean hug wrapped in creamy avocado and the perfect crunch. The crab was so fresh, I half expected it to wave back at me. Honestly, this roll didn't just feed me-it healed me. 10/10 would order again and maybe write it a love letter next time
The place to go for asian food in Waterford. Good prices, fantastic food (with oodles and oodles of choices) and a lovely atmosphere when dining in.
The staff are always pleasant to us and provide great service. It's a nice place to go if you want to chill and enjoy the vibes and a nice meal with friends, family or a date.
I would consider it an essential place to try. Ironically, as it's so nice it's also very popular, being very busy at peak times, so if ordering online or to get a table, be prepared for a wait.
22/03/2025: Little disappointed in the chicken dish , 4 bits of chicken in a bowl of watery sauce.,
Service is great very friendly....
09/12/2024: I ate here at the weekend with two friends and I have mixed feelings on the place, it was really busy when we arrived and we were late as could not find parking outside or anywhere on the main road so that had us stressed but they were very polite and said they understood that we had issues with parking.
We were seated right away, the menu was on the table so we had a look. There is a really good choice and we decided what we wanted but we had to call the waiter back over after a good wait to take the order, I then had to call him back over and ask could we have some prawn crackers as he forgot to give them.
Starters arrived and mine was really lovely and spicy with loads of flavour as it was chicken Satay, mains was really disappointing I ordered crispy chicken with sweet and sour sauce and chips but it was bland and not hot enough as in temperature wise but I ate it because I was hungry.
My two friend seemed to enjoy their dinner so I cant comment on their food, the servers were all lovely but the service was very slow and they didnt seem to have anyone supervising them, the area we were seated in was cold and I was glad I wote a heavy jumper, toilets were nice and clean if a little small for a restaurant of that size.
The bill was €131.80 for three starters, three mains, one glass of wine, one cocktail and a diet coke. My friend ordered gingerale but it never arrived.
Overall we had nice time but I am not sure I would return again, I was expecting great things as I had been to the one in Citywest before and that was delicous.
Shame really but have to say the staff were all really polite and friendly so that is good to see.
