The Watermill Café at Skerries Mills is a delightful destination that perfectly blends history, charm, and family fun. Located within the historic mill complex, this cozy café offers a warm and authentic atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy freshly baked treats. The mill’s bakery, dating back to the 1840s, continues its tradition of crafting delicious bread, scones, and cakes daily, ensuring every bite is filled with heritage and flavor.
For coffee lovers, their Americano is unbeatable at just €3.20. Pair it with one of their mouthwatering sandwiches made from bread baked fresh each morning. Families will love the café’s welcoming vibe, complemented by its proximity to an amazing playground where kids can enjoy free fun while parents unwind.
The café is part of the larger Skerries Mills attraction, featuring guided tours of two windmills and a watermill that showcase centuries-old milling techniques. Visitors can also explore artisan shops or relax on the sunny Willow Terrace overlooking the community garden. Whether you’re here for brunch, a hearty meal, or just a sweet treat like their famous apple tart or cheesecake, the Watermill Café is a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike.

We brought our 5 month old baby to see Santa at the Mills with both grandparents and it was so lovely! Everyone was so helpful and the baby loved seeing all the little displays especially the puppets speaking with her!
