Skerries Mills in Skerries

We had a very pleasant visit to the mills. Our guide was amazing, with a high knowledge of the mills and surroundings. The mills are very well preserved, and landscapes all around are breathtaking. Delicious cakes and cappuccino in the coffee shop

Great insight into life in a million. We had a terrific guide, Patrick, and it was great to actually get inside the windmills and learn how they worked.

Now that’s a good windmill! Not like those electrical generating monstrosities that kill the bitds. The Roman’s started with windmills I think after god shut off the free power the preflood civilizations used. Makes sense to use wind to perform work directly.

This is a beautiful area, which is definitely work visiting. The Skerries Mills has a rich history. Lots of parking.

It was fun, very informative tour explaining the history of skerries, the mills and everything. And the view is awesome, looked straight out of the windows wallpaper. We had an awesome experience. Must visit place ☺️ Tip: Those who have leg pain/ knee pain and cannot walk may miss the tour but then they will miss the sight/view of the actual mills as well. Request to the management to have some option for such people to atleast be able to go to the area of mills and click some pictures.

Excellent tour showing the workings of the old bakery, Water Mill and wind Mills. Lots to see and very well explained. Seeing the water mill working and seeing inside a wind mill was really interesting

We had a lovely tour of Skerries Mills with our guide Alex. He explained every part of the mills and was patient enough to click photos of our group. I recommend visit to Skerries as part of Ireland itinerary for sure.
