Food was slightly below average. I wish it’s better because it would’ve been the best cafe in town as it is the most visually appealing cafe and it got that vibe I’m looking for.

Unfortunately, the Caesar salad wasn't great, so I was a little disappointed, but the rest of the menu looked good. The hot chocolate was very good and could be served with whipped cream and marshmallows. The service and atmosphere were pleasant, but nothing special.

We use Sodalicious to cater for our meetings and for catching up with clients, colleagues and friends. Jane and the team never fail to impress with their excellent quality food and prompt service. Danny, Sarah and Ian are a delight to interact with in their Lower Cecil Street restaurant.

Really if you like bread at all, you will love this bread! I had a vegetable soup with Rosemary Soda Bread MONTHS ago and I still think about it all the time. One of my most memorable meals and it was probably the most affordable eating out experience I can remember. It was SO delicious! 🩷

Turkman Grill

12/02/2026: Food was pretty good, very spicy. The employees were nice and polite. Had loud music playing and the other patrons were shouting across the entire restaurant to their friends, so have to dock points for that
21/01/2026: I live in Cork but work doesn't a Limerick company. Turkmen Grill is a must stop for Quabuli rice (lamb or chixken) whenever Im in Limerick. The food here has been consistently excellent for the last few years. I have eaten here but generally get takeaway to bring back home.

Jack Monday's Coffee House

22/02/2025: First time in Jack Monday's. It's a good place for a late breakfast or lunch. We had nice food for lunch. I had a wrap and my wife had a club sandwich. It came with salad and cubed potatoes. The coffee (I had a double espresso) was okay, but I like it a bit stronger. Lovely place with a view over the river Shannon and towards the castle. We will certainly come back for lunch.
16/02/2025: White pudding to die for, Friendly staff defo come here if you’re in the mood to chat with friends!
