Sodalicious in Limerick

Excellent service and great food!!

Came in while passing through Castletroy roughly two weeks ago now. I had the chicken florentine and my husband had the BLT, both beautiful, with two lattes. The coffees were great but service a little slow, due to what seemed to be an understaffing problem. There only seemed to be one staff member dealing with everything at the time while the cafe was full and seemed to have a constant turnover while we were sitting down. What seemed to be the manager then came in started and started giving out, quite loudly, as we could hear her quite clearly from inside the kitchen area. She then proceeded to leave while the cafe was busy and clearly needed more help. Apart from this, everything was beautiful and I compliment the staff member and kitchen for trying their best to keep everything running smoothly.

Ordered a tuna melt. Was expecting a cheesy melt on top of the tuna but didn't deliver. Tuna was well soaked in water that the toasted bread was a bit soggy when it arrived. Staff were great and attentive. Good ambience.

7.40 for cappuccino and a scone! Cappuccino lukewarm and scone just OK. Overpriced!

Well established business in the heart of Limerick City

Delicious Sandwichs, very spacious, lovely atmosphere.

Visited the branch in Castletroy today. We had soup and walnut soda bread. So delicious and fresh. Perfect on a cold day! My soup was not warm enough when served, the staff dealt with this immediately and really professionally. I got a piping hot new bowl and was very happy. Looking forward to visiting again and trying the city centre branch. I did call one other day for take away coffee, so good!

Great atmosphere, delicious soup, tasty sandwich...

A nice little cafe. They have a variety of soda breads (although they had run out of many by the time we arrived at 3 PM) and pastries. Well decorated and well lit space. Ultimate cheese toast is was good but not quite as good as I’d hoped, and the green goddess salad was great.
