Soup Dragon is a lovely spot for healthy and hearty soups, great coffee, and delicious baked goods! The owners are so lovely and very attentive. There are a few stools inside for seating and a table outside for nicer days. Great for a quick and satisfying meal!

Very good, healthy, and inexpensive! The waitresses are very friendly. The only drawback: there are no dishes, so you have to eat in disposable plastic/cardboard cups.

Staff were super helpful with samples of different soups. The soup, bread and fruit were really good. I had the French potato and my husband had the red pepper and fennel soup. Both were incredible and vegetarian. Huge vegetarian selection.

Amazing cafe with delicious soup and sandwiches! We were walking past just before they were due to close, and paused for a moment in case they wanted to close up but they were so welcoming and sent us on our way with some really tasty food. Highly recommended!

Tiny lunch restaurant with not much seating. Better for a take out lunch. The soup was very tasty and came with 3 huge chunks of fresh bread. The sandwich was not as good with another two huge slices of bread. So much bread! Use the map to find it because it's so small!

Was exited that this place was only a few blocks from my hotel and was not disappointed. Had the chuncky chicken 1st time around and Indian chicken (curry) the 2nd time. Both delicious. The bread on the side is soft with a good crust. Many vegetarian options if that's your thing.

29/06/2025: Had a coffee stop at Aon sceal cafe. The coffee was lovely. I was dissapointed there were no caramel squares available they are absolutely gorgeous. Hopefully next time they will be back in stock.

The Dropping Well

23/08/2025: It’s a pretty location by the river, and I think a good spot for a drink. Unfortunately our waitress was not very happy from the get-go, which soured the ambience. The salads and chips were marginal, at best.
22/08/2025: Was here for the next day, informal get together for a class reunion. Busy place. We had a back room to ourselves. Staff did a great job of keeping us supplied with food and drinks The food was also great. Great pub grub!
