It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! Everything was delicious — especially the French toast, which was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had!

They have the best avocado toast ever! 🥑 The coffee is also really good smooth and full of flavor. It’s a cozy spot with a nice atmosphere, perfect for a date or just a relaxed morning. Definitely a place worth visiting!

No fried eggs at the weekend… Breakfast bap ingredients seem pre-prepared, not fresh. Chips very expensive for small portion.

Southbank in Harold’s Cross is a solid neighbourhood café with good intentions, but doesn’t quite reach standout status. The food is decent — brunch classics like French toast and eggs Benedict hit the spot, though consistency can be an issue. Service is friendly, but can feel stretched when it’s busy, and the space, while bright and inviting, gets cramped and noisy at peak times. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for a casual bite or coffee, but with some rough edges that keep it at a 3/5 across food, service, and vibe.
