Southbank in Dublin

Thanks so much to the lovely staff member who kept an eye on my bike. Great spot, local favourite.

It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! Everything was delicious — especially the French toast, which was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had!

They have the best avocado toast ever! 🥑 The coffee is also really good smooth and full of flavor. It’s a cozy spot with a nice atmosphere, perfect for a date or just a relaxed morning. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Beautiful space, welcoming staff, kid-friendly, and delicious food, especially the Turkish eggs!

My top cafe for breakfast on the weekend when longing for avocado toast and poached eggs.

No fried eggs at the weekend… Breakfast bap ingredients seem pre-prepared, not fresh. Chips very expensive for small portion.

Southbank in Harold’s Cross is a solid neighbourhood café with good intentions, but doesn’t quite reach standout status. The food is decent — brunch classics like French toast and eggs Benedict hit the spot, though consistency can be an issue. Service is friendly, but can feel stretched when it’s busy, and the space, while bright and inviting, gets cramped and noisy at peak times. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for a casual bite or coffee, but with some rough edges that keep it at a 3/5 across food, service, and vibe.

Incredible time at Southbank - once again! A special shoutout to Clíodhna who was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating when it came to my allergy. She dealt with the situation in a professional and friendly manner, and the food came out perfect. We had a wonderful, calm and refreshing Sunday brunch and will be returning in the future!

Not impressed with service and also food itself. Some items that were ordered never arrived even though we were told few times that it is on the way. You can do better guys :)
