South's Pub in Limerick

I wish I could give even more stars! THE BEST place in Limerick if you're looking for authentic food and atmosphere. A huge hug to the entire staff – fantastic people.

The BBQ ribs and chicken wings are divine. The whole pub is very cozy and the people working there are very nice. I recommend it to everyone. Huge filling portions and very friendly prices.

Lovely staff, let us come just for toilet.

Best scones in Limerick!! Possibly Ireland! I’ve spent 3 weeks in Limerick, and made it my mission to sample as many scones as possible, I’ve probably tried a dozen different places in Limerick and a handful outside and nowhere has been able to touch the quality of these scones! Perfectly baked crispy crusts, soft fluffy centers, always served with butter, jam and whipped cream. If you are looking for a good scone, you’ve found the place!

On Sunday, 19th April 2026, my partner and I purchased two roast stuffed porks, a glass of Coca Cola and a pint of 7-Up. The food was nice and the portions were generous BUT our Sunday lunch cost us €51.30! We spent €42 for a similar lunch at an hotel in the eastern suburbs a week earlier. I think that Souths need to look at their pricing.

Absolute gem in the city. Food is superb and it's a lovely place for a few pints. Worth a visit.
