We are new Wicklow residents, this was our first time at Sparrows Nest and we were not disappointed. Excellent food, including Lamb Shank, which was tender and delicious and light and tasty tempura fish accompanied by a lovely French Rose. Our waitress, Alex, was extremely welcoming, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was busy, the atmosphere was warm and pleasant with a great buzz, but the front of house and kitchen staff were on the ball. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely great fish and chips. They have been great to make it for takeaway. It's one of the best we ever had in Ireland. Good size and great value. Thanks a mill 😊

29/06/2025: I recently visited the Diamond Bowling Centre in Wicklow, and overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience. The venue is clean and well-kept, with a friendly atmosphere that works equally well for families, groups of friends, or casual outings. Staff were approachable, patient, and attentive, especially with kids and first-time bowlers. They created a welcoming vibe, which made the visit feel relaxed.

25/11/2025: Great food and service, good value for money. Portions were huge. Lovely staff.
20/10/2025: 6 Stars if it was possible. Fantastic. I had Half Pounder Meal. The beef, sauce, ratios all perfectly done. The portion was brilliant. The chips were perfect. Its been a long time since I had a traditional chipper as most let their standards slip, this is not the case here. I live in Dublin and would travel next time im im the mood for this. My wife had a pizza and shared with her mum, both loved it and her mum had just travelled to Italy. Well done, keep it up.
