Spencer Hotel in Dublin

10/02/2025: Very nice atmosphere, good music. I recommend going there with friends and enjoying the music and a beer.

10/02/2025: The pub was overall okay. There was a Jazz Band playing (Sunday evening) and they were good. If you're there for food and to have a conversation, you might, like me, tend to go to the back area of the pub, which is more quiet, but not as nice as the front. The food was good. Vegetarian options are available, mainly Asian Dishes like Curry or Stir Fry. My only real issue was the service. The staff was overall nice, but after getting our drinks and food, no one looked after us for the rest of the evening. No asking if everything was okay, if we wanted more drinks, if we would like to see the dessert menu. That is normally something you would do, instead of silently rushing in and taking our empty plates. I'd understand if it was very busy, but it really wasn't. Staff was standing like 5 Meters from our table and blankly looking through me, trying to signal that I wanted to pay. This evening could have gone from okay to great if only the staff was a little more attentive.
