Spencer Hotel in Dublin

Friendly employees at reception and in service, who even prepared a breakfast package for us because we had to leave for our tour earlier than breakfast time. The room was clean and tidy and very invitingly decorated. The view from the balcony was beautiful and invited you to end the day relaxing in the evening. If you want an all-round carefree package, this hotel in the heart of Dublin invites you to do so. We would always like to go to this hotel again on a Dublin holiday.

Just spent 2 days and one night at The Spencer. Apart from the fact that it is very well located, the hotel is beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated. The staff are professional, efficient and friendly - a combination difficult to find. The lunch menu was delicious and I think the breakfast catered for all tastes/needs. All in all a very pleasant and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

The pool, gym and spa are also open to outsiders, which means it's always full, that's a minus point, the rest was great

Good for an older hotel, but staff just walked in without advance notice while I was working inside of the room. Twice this happened in 1 day.

Really poor experience. We were staying for one night and had called in advance and also asked at check in about parking as their was a half marathon on and we wanted to be sure we could leave the area in the morning. We were assured there would be no issue. Only to get up and see we couldn't actually leave the hotel carpark and would need to leave the car their till 6pm. The staff didn't seem too bothered. Edit as the manager has since apologised and offered a special rate etc if we do stay again in the future and the call was much appreciated.

Hotel was ok, had a lift out when I was there making getting to the rooms slow, but thag can't be helped. Lobby and bar is smart and modern Rooms are nice but my room had a bath you stand in rather than a shower

Perfect hotel, staff are excellent always on hand, breakfast area all Perfect, nice location opposite the river, nice and quiet area just a 15min walk to the main town area

Could use a good refresh (rooms especially bathrooms and spa). Nice business hotel but wouldn’t go for leisure (very impersonal). Their Malaysian restaurant is good. Having access to the spa is a plus but the puddle of water in the sauna put me off. Don’t forget your flip flops if you’re adventurous! The gym is a 5/5 tho! Breakfast 3/5 (some days the pastries were defrosted from the day before).
