Got a takeaway from Spice Village in Terenure on a busy Friday night and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth everything went. The food was ready when promised and still piping hot when we got home. I had the lamb rogan josh and it was tender, rich, and full of flavour, while the garlic naan was soft with just the right amount of crisp on the edges.
The portions were generous and great value for the price, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. Staff were friendly during collection, which always leaves a good impression.
Really solid local Indian takeaway reliable, tasty, and perfect for a weekend treat.

We gave Spice Village in Terenure a try after hearing good things locally, and it really lived up to the hype. The curries were rich and flavourful without being too heavy, and you can adjust the spice level to suit your taste. The vegetable samosas were crisp and fresh, and the pilau rice was perfectly cooked.
Collection was quick and hassle-free, and the staff were polite and welcoming when we arrived. Everything was well packaged and still piping hot when we got home.
A reliable spot for a tasty Indian meal — great quality, fair prices, and we’ll definitely be back.

Ordered from Spice Village in Terenure last weekend and it didn’t disappoint. The chicken tikka masala had a lovely depth of flavour and the lamb biryani was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. Everything arrived hot and well packed.
What stood out most was the consistency and quality — you can tell care goes into the food. The portions are very generous for the price, making it great value.
It was my first time trying it, but it definitely won’t be the last.

Tried Spice Village in Terenure recently and was really impressed. The food tasted fresh and full of flavour without being overly greasy. I ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan, and both were excellent — creamy, well-spiced, and very satisfying. The portion sizes were generous, so we even had leftovers for the next day.
Service was friendly and the order was ready on time, even though it was a busy evening. The place itself is clean and comfortable, making it a nice option if you want to sit in as well.
Definitely one of the better Indian takeaways in the area — I’ll be ordering again.

Spice Village in Terenure is a reliable choice for well-prepared Indian food with plenty of variety. The weekend buffet is particularly worth highlighting — a generous spread with a good balance dishes, ideal if you want to sample multiple flavours in one visit. There is a south indian buffet and a Gujrati buffet as wrll as a Punjabi paratha option. Everything was well presented and regularly replenished.
One small but memorable detail was the masala chai, which was excellent — properly spiced, aromatic, and just sweet enough to manage in small quantities. A great way to finish the meal and something many places overlook.
The restaurant itself is comfortable and welcoming, and service was efficient even during busier periods. Overall, a solid option in Dublin 6W for both casual dining and relaxed weekend meals, especially if you enjoy buffet-style Indian cuisine.
