Spiced Bean Cafe in Mullingar

A new cafe was recently re-opened. Welcoming and friendly staff. Varied choice of food. Delicious mocha.

Delighted that the Spiced Bean is open again under new ownership and especially that they have kept the filter coffee machine! Loved the place when Aidan and Delia ran it. First visit under new ownership was excellent and I wish the new owners all the best!

Usually the Spiced Bean Cafe is great however, on Thursday it fell short of the usual great food and great service. A staff shortage in the kitchen led to heated pre-cooked rashers and sausages and noone to cook eggs ? The staff seemed under pressure toast with a mini fry was forgotten and a carrot cake was never delivered. All in all a disappointing visit and the price was a little high 27 euro for 2 coffees 2 chicken rolls and 2 sausages, 2 rashers and toast.
