We ordered the famous pie of the main course to share, ox tail and duck as starters. The starters are great, and the service has no complaints. However, to be fair, the restaurant just has ordinary tastes of their food, nothing very special or amazing to be a Michelin one. It does not worth the price, unfortunately.

Fantastic resturant. Fully lived up to the reviews (see pictures). The food was excellent, the manager was charasmatic, polite, and entertaining. The price was actually on the lower side for a Michelin resturant, and the price I mention included drinks for both people. Highly reccomended.

Fantastic choice! We were hungry and a little off the beaten path for a couple of tourists. The food was great and the staff was very welcoming in helping us decide on what to eat.

One of the best meals we’ve had in many moons. We started with the devilled eggs and the bitterballen, both delightful, and for the main course went with their claim to fame, the cock-a-leekie pie, which came with a perfectly dressed side salad, and added a side of roasted carrots - everything was incredibly delicious. We finished with the rhubarb mille feuille which was a perfect light dessert after a decadent meal. The service was very friendly and not pretentious, drinks were excellent. Highly recommend.

Fast and professional service and nice gastro pub, although the clientele were somewhat obnoxious. The food overall was very tasty and drinks were good too, some of the cocktails could do with maybe a little more work (like the martinis). My main complaint would be the price for this location. Would easily recommend, just make sure you can afford it!

Had an incredible birthday dinner here. The oyster and beef tartare dish was very unique and delicious, the scallop dish was perfectly done, and the deviled egg might’ve been the best I’ve ever had. The cock-a-leekie pie was a standout and the potatoes were next-level. The downstairs seating lets you watch the kitchen in action — super cool vibe. Great service too. Can’t recommend enough.
