Service is very, very slow. My friend didn't drink his orange juice because it tasted funny. I loved my iced chocolate though. The cabinet food didn't look appealing to my friend and I, so we didn't order. We noticed someone observing us intently and following us in a hurry when we left. I think we attract suspicious unwanted attention !!!

Went where there twice this weekend and food and service were great. Excellent location for watching the strait and the airport.

Breakfast with a side of takeoff. Spruce Goose is what happens when great coffee, tasty food, and runway views form the perfect flight plan. Popped in for breakfast and was met with friendly, fast service and a menu that actually delivers. The coffee hits the spot, the food’s legit, and if you're an aviation geek, the proximity to the airport runway is borderline thrilling. There’s something oddly calming about sipping a flat white while a 737 roars past. 8/10 would refuel here again.

First timer to Spruce Goose and on a busy Saturday afternoon, the service was fantastic, food and drinks spot on. I will definitely be back. Great all round experience.

Best chowder 😁 n all NZ. Very busy A Sunday lunch but maitre d' found us a table to share with speed. Very happy diners.
