Good food and good service. Burger was delicious. Nice view of the sea and the airport.

I've heard a lot of amazing reviews about SG, so I was really disappointed with our visit. The menu was small, uninspired and a bit dysfunctional. I ended up ordering salt & pepper squid which, whilst it was fresh and tender, lacked the salt & pepper - or any other flavour at all. The chicken wings were golden brown and very crispy but again, no flavour at all. The staff however we're very attentive, polite and did an great job - there was a lot of them. I doubt i'll visit SG again.

We had a lunch booking for after our wedding but the weather meant that we needed to move our marriage ceremony inside last minute, the team at the Spruce Goose really pulled it out of the bag and made it such a special day for us. Thank you!!!!

Always love coming here when in Wellington as it's close to where we are - it's always busy which says a lot about the food - nice to look out at the ocean no matter what the day and watch the planes coming in at odd angles on the windy days. I've left pics of our food on this day - the burger special with beer and the scrambled eggs - only thing we were disappointed that the server whipped away our mocha BEFORE we'd had the marshmallows- we were saving the best for last - waaaahhh!

Tues Oct 7th. Service and coffee were great. Cheese scone not up to usual standard. Bland, something lacking salt or not enough cheese. May have been a one off.

A shame they didn't have Muesli but eggs were nice

Great spot by the beach... Spruce Goose is a delight... The food’s creative, tasty, and well-presented... Saff wore friendly and attentive... Great atmosphere in a cosy space, ideal for brunch or a relaxed dinner... Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Wellington, especially once you get off the plane...

A beautiful view from a Cafe filled with beautiful staff! If you're looking for a place to enjoy some great food in a great atmosphere, Spruce Goose is the place to go. We had a function booked there today for about x30 people and the service and support was absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend dining at Spruce Goose or booking in a function for your next big celebration. Thank you to the entire Spruce Goose Team for looking after us today for our work lunch!
