St Johns Hospital in Limerick

Professional medical help, nice service, unfortunately when it comes to information it is bad, the patient is not informed about the state of his health and the results of the tests performed on him. On the day of discharge there is no clearly defined time, I waited 1.30 hours to take my son from the hospital! In addition, the room where he was lying was dirty on the floors and under the bed on the day of his admission there was a bloody tissue and dust under the bed

I was here in 1953 and had very good care from wonderful nurses. The downside was I was first put in the children's ward surrounded with screaming babies. Later I was moved to share a room with an old, dying man too weak to even talk. The humour of the contrast was lost on me.

St John's hospital is a really lovely hospital the staff are just great always pleasant
