Food was first class!! really really nice.. We got room number 400 and the room it's self was disappointing, the shower was freezing in the morning.. but still enjoyed our stay..

We had our wedding in Step House Hotel in early August and cannot fault the fabulous boutique hotel. From the minute we booked the Step House Hotel for our venue we knew we were in good hands. Clodagh’s communication throughout the whole wedding planning process was seamless with quick responses to emails/phone calls which we really appreciated.
The day itself went according to plan which was largely due to the on-the-day co-ordinator Benny. There was no task too big or too small and anything we asked for Benny ensured the day went exactly how we wished.
The grounds in the Step House are stunning. The hotel provides that country house feel without the hefty price-tag and has numerous options for photographs on the hotel grounds and nearby. The food was sensational and cooked to perfection. All we got from our guests were compliments on the food and the service from waiting/bar staff.
We have had a few guests say to us that the Step House is one of the best wedding venues they have attended. We may be biased but couldn’t agree more! We can’t speak highly enough of our experience in the Step House Hotel and can’t wait to return for our first wedding anniversary already!
Fantastic venue for a wedding reception. The lady that owns the place is absolutely brilliant and just the right amount of crackers. What a garden too!!
