We went for a dinner with my boyfriend. The service was excellent. Even though we were a bit late they provided us with the table! The booking is essential. The food was amazing. This is my second experience in the 1808 Brasserie & Cellar Restaurant and it was just the same, bravo! We ordered roast breasts of chicken and slow cooked feather blade beef. And the dessert left me speechless... it was just a dream: classic Creme Brulee with Raspberry sorbet ❤️ Thank you very much! It turned out to be the great day... with the proposal in the end! (on the Viaduct 🥰)

Got married here and everything was perfect, Becky was so helpful throughout the process of planning the big day since my husband and I both live in Scotland. I felt so relaxed and comfortable on the big day due to the professionalism of all the hotel staff and my guests have been raving about the rooms and the wedding meal. Highly recommend The Step House Hotel for all future couples that want to tie the knot at this lovely location. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Honestly best day of my life and it was made even more memorable. Will definitely be coming back to stay here as a regular guest.
