Stir Cafe in Dublin

A decent and functional hotel. We had a triple room, which was a bit cramped, especially in terms of closet space. The bathroom could be improved. The hotel has good transport links.

The hotel was conveniently located to several areas of interest. Close to the bus lines. Several eating and drinking areas near by. The rooms were clean and the staff attentive. Only negative was a fire alarm at 1 am, false alarm, not sure why it happened.

Good location near the center, ok service.

Just what we needed, clean, spacious, and the fan helped with the heat. We thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood (Cobblestone Pub, Jameson tour, easy access to bus, ate at several nearby restaurants). The safety features in washroom were appreciated (mats, grab bars). Much of the process was self-serve, but staff were available when we needed something. We would return.

Accessible hotel with very welcoming, helpful, and attentive staff. Large, clean, and well-soundproofed room. We had a broken thermostat problem that they couldn't solve despite their best efforts. Breakfast with a wide selection for all tastes.

I was very satisfied. The hotel was adequately equipped. The staff was nice and willing to help. They always tried to accommodate. The rooms had everything you needed and they replenished water in ecological bottles daily. The breakfasts were excellent and nothing was missing. I would have liked more pastries.

It's a great hotel with great city access, friendly staff, clean accommodation, etc. I'd like to thank the hotel staff.

We stayed at the Maldron in Smithfield as we were leaving Dublin. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had some issues with our rooms and they assisted us promptly. The rooms were rather hot and only had standing fans for air flow so that was uncomfortable. It would not be my first choice of hotel if I was to return to Dublin but the front desk women and managers did help make the stay better.

Nice hotel well located to visit Dublin by walk or by bus. Temple Bar is 20 minutes away by foot from the hotel. The room is clean and spacious. The bathroom could be a little bit better especially the shower (bath). Breakfast is good but nearly always the same every day.

Comfortable hotel with great breakfast. Conveniently located close to a tram stop.
