Stoop Your Head in Skerries

Known for its sea food, we expected the meals with be tasty and they were! I was pleasantly surprised with Cod Florentine, the sauce paired very well with the cod fish and it wasn’t overpowering. Fish and chips didn’t disappoint either. Great spot for heartwarming meals.

Nice environment and excellent fish crab soup. King prawns were fantastic. Kind personnel and meeting Patsy Kensit avatar was fun too. Best wishes and see you soon again!

Delicious food and exquisite place I recommend seafood chowder and any version of cod plate.

See also my earlier review. This time I tried something new. It was John Dory. I knows it’s a quite rare fish that’s why it is more expensive than others. Fish was well prepared and good in taste. I found the presentation poor. They‘ve put the fish on a „bed of salad“. Salad had no taste an got soft. It was only served with a few new potatoes. Price was in my opinion with 32 euros too expensive for that what it was. It would have been nicer instead of the untasty bed of salad if the‘ve at least put some spinach or carrots or so on the plate. It was A lovely fish loveless presented. This time the side salad didn’t expect my expectations anymore. It was served in a little bowl. The dressing wasn’t the wonderful taste then last times anymore. The second time I came to Stoops in June, I had my all time favorite. Cod florentine. Which was lovely like always.
