Stoop Your Head in Skerries

Food lovely, new covered area was cold and no atmosphere especially considering it’s Christmas time. Senior staff grumpy, bad service overall. I’d expect better considering it’s an expensive restaurant.

Regular hunt for us. Food lovely all dishes unique and tasty. Friendly staff busy at times. Maybe pre book in summer for special seat

I had an amazing seafood chowder. The staff was incredibly attentive and polite, and the service was flawless. Both the taste of the food and the quality of the service were excellent. I will definitely consider coming back. I especially recommend the seafood chowder for anyone who loves seafood.

Lovely location and a great wee pub/restaurant, always very popular with locals and the tourists , just beside the harbour with great views of your lucky enough to get a seat by the window, we shared a dish of spicy chicken wings and we both had cod and chips tonight , the starter was absolutely delicious but the main course , the fish fantastic and a big portion but the chips were not so good , they were a frozen chip and not a nice one , I don’t understand what any chef or restaurant would serve such a product , it’ll definitely put us off going back. We’ve been here a couple of times in the past and we’re satisfied but can’t remember if we had the chips before, it’s such a let down for a dish that depends on good chips . The wait between the started and the main course way too long . Sorry guys but not too impressed tonight .

Well found this place and it's now among my top 5 favourite places to eat. The food is exceptionally well cooked, perfectly seasoned, Reasonably priced and the portions are on the money. I can only recommend you give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Our BnB host booked a table for us and we loved it! We shared chicken wings as a starter (quite spicy for me!) and had fish pie and cod florentine. Service was impeccable and very friendly! Our table wasn’t ready so we waited 15 minutes at the bar and to our great surprise, they didn’t appear on the bill!

Lovely historical place by the sea. Delicious fish and tasty food. Service was impeccable regardless of the waiting time by the bar. Make sure to have a reservation :)

It's been a few years since I was here, but I felt the place has lost its character. It was a lively pub with fabulous food. I used to love the dishes of prawns, crab claws etc. It is now more a restaurant with a "wait to be seated" sign inside the door. I can't fault the food, we had a nice meal... but it just ain't the place it used. to be. It lacked atmosphere and the staff seemed to be going thru the motions.

Really nice. It was a quick visit. We had the chowder. The menu was very nice looking and reasonably priced. Very pleasant staff.

Ticks all the boxes , Food top class , Staff brilliant , Price very reasonable , great menu with plenty of choice , food straight out of the sea , good wine menu and full bar
