Strand Bar in Limerick

Hotel booked for a business trip. It's very well located, very clean, and well-equipped (swimming pool, conference room, and gym). The rooms are well soundproofed, and the bed is very comfortable. My only complaint is the relatively high price and the breakfast buffet, which could be better (powdered orange juice, frozen pastries, etc.).

Cozy, clean hotel with easy access, wheelchair accessible, spectacular breakfast and service. The receptionist, Antônio, is Brazilian and made us feel very comfortable; hearing our language in a place where you want to relax is undoubtedly a gift. It has an on-site bar and restaurant, offering great comfort and convenience.

We only stayed for one night, but we were incredibly impressed by the cleanliness the feeling of comfort in the hotel and in our room. Luckily, we got an upgrade which was such a joy. There is a lovely pool, a tasty breakfast,and we really enjoyed our short time there.

I’ve stayed at the Strand hotel as part of a multi year company project taking place in Limerick and all I can share is that Strand has become my second home. I’m greeted warmly by all the staff, Antoni on reception is always a pleasure to deal with and knows me by name. The bacon served at breakfast is the best I’ve ever had. Beds and room are always comfortable and well serviced. Pleased to see the introduction of a “save the planet and skip the room clean to get €5 off in the restaurant/ bar” scheme. Dedicated hotel car parking underground is safe and secure. Night team on reception when arriving late or early check out are brilliant and handle everything with a smile - even told me about the option to request a take away breakfast in a box to take on my flight home! I look forward to seeing you all again soon

Was at a conference in the hotel, so can't really comment a lot on the hotel. Was impressed by the general appearance of the hotel. The reception area was very impressive, also the conference areas we were in impressed also. The one complaint I would have was the price of parking, 17 euro from about 9.30 until a bit after 3 .!

We have a 4 day stay at Hotel Strand in Limerick, Ireland. It’s very centrally located. At walking distance you can find plenty of shopping and food joints. The bus station is close by and you can walk to it. The hotel offers a nicely laid out hot and cold breakfast with tea and variety of coffee options, juices, fruits and a variety of breads. If you don’t want housekeeping to wake you up at 8:30AM, make sure to put your do not disturb sign outside the door. The rooms are very comfortable with plenty of pillows and a down comforter. There’s plenty of room to put your belongings in so your room stays uncluttered. There’s a safe for your important gadgets and passports etc, a small fridge, a coffee machine and a hot water electric pot for tea, 2 bottles of water and 2 small packets of biscuits with one biscuit in each packet, wrapped individually to dip in your tea- a sweet addition to the variety of teas. Bathrooms have a hand held shower in a glass shower enclosure and a soaking tub, one sink and plenty of shelves to keep your toiletry and make up items. Small bar soaps and liquid shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion are all provided in big bottles that are fixed to the walls. Our bathroom had only two sets of towels and depleting tissue paper box. The tissues and toilet paper are rough to the skin, so if you’re used to soft ones, bring your own. The hotel has on site health center, sauna, heated pool and jacuzzi. It has a restaurant and room service. We have not ordered food as of yet from their restaurant so can’t comment on it.
