Strand Bar in Limerick

Stunning views from Limerick Strand! I'm always happy to spend a night here. Excellent gym and spa. I especially enjoy time in the sauna and hot tub. What a way to end the day!

Great hotel within walking distance from shops and restaurants. Nice bar, and great breakfasts.

Pretty good hotel on the bank of the river and close to bars and restaurants. Rooms were a bit dated (and the shower had poor water pressure), but they were a nice size for the price. I booked an executive room and it was nice to have access to the executive lounge with free snacks and coffee. The gym was well equipped with all kinds of resistance machines, free weights, and aerobic machines. There was also a pool (swim cap required) and a jacuzzi, but I didn’t use either. Breakfast was buffet-style with a decent selection of cold and hot dishes, but nothing to write home about. Overall a fine place to stay for one night.

The hotel is really nice and located close to everything. My only criticism is that there online information about the parking was very generic so I was over paying my first couple of days until I asked the desk to explain how to get the guest rate. I understand that not all guests have a car so they may not mention it at check in but when they give you a QR code to get info, the website should be thorough.

The strand hotel it good, I stay there when I'm with work, great location easy to get in to town as well, food is great at the hotel well 😁 service great.

I was working on a local project for a few months and have stayed in different hotels. This is undoubtly one of the best options in Limerick and therefore I stayed various times. Generally a great hotel. However, shower water flow is annoyingly minimal and therefore it takes a longer time to take a shower. Also it has some noise insulation issues in some rooms, even with ear plugs I found it difficult to sleep after 6am-6:30am which is a problem for longer stays.

Nice hotel, with an excelent location, well equipped gym, swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast is not exceptional, but I have seen much worst in higher rated hotels... the rooms in my opinion present a problem for me, as I am not the type who likes carpet... however the bathroom covers for it with the availability of shower and bath. Overall not a bad experience.

While some staff where courteous and helpful, many other staff seemed unenthusiastic and cavalier. This was particularly disappointing given that it is a relatively expensive hotel. Pity really as it is in a very good location.

This has been the finest hotel we've stayed in thus far on our driving tour of the Emerald Isle. Friendly and helpful staff, great onsite parking, a very comfortable room, and a wonderful location just a short walk to key sites in town. Thank you Limerick Strand!
