Strand Bar in Limerick

I was working on a local project for a few months and have stayed in different hotels. This is undoubtly one of the best options in Limerick and therefore I stayed various times. Generally a great hotel. However, shower water flow is annoyingly minimal and therefore it takes a longer time to take a shower. Also it has some noise insulation issues in some rooms, even with ear plugs I found it difficult to sleep after 6am-6:30am which is a problem for longer stays.

Nice hotel, with an excelent location, well equipped gym, swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast is not exceptional, but I have seen much worst in higher rated hotels... the rooms in my opinion present a problem for me, as I am not the type who likes carpet... however the bathroom covers for it with the availability of shower and bath. Overall not a bad experience.

While some staff where courteous and helpful, many other staff seemed unenthusiastic and cavalier. This was particularly disappointing given that it is a relatively expensive hotel. Pity really as it is in a very good location.

This has been the finest hotel we've stayed in thus far on our driving tour of the Emerald Isle. Friendly and helpful staff, great onsite parking, a very comfortable room, and a wonderful location just a short walk to key sites in town. Thank you Limerick Strand!

Excellent hotel. Nice rooms. Conveniently located in the city center. Breakfast is adequate.

Great hotel, the suite was beautiful, spacious with a fabulous balcony with a blanket and comfy wicker furniture. The welcome chocolates were a nice touch! The only thing I’d change is that there were two double beds pushed together, instead of a super king bed which was disappointing.

Location is good. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Clean room. Breakfast was great. Helpful staff. I would stay again.
