A gorgeous little cafe in this lovely little town, sound folks at the counter and kitchen, and an absolutely delicious full Irish breakfast - the bacon was, in particular, perfectly fried. And the Americano was spot on. Our first visit to West Cork was remarkable thanks to the lovely food. Absolutely recommend this place.

i went into the sugar loaf cafe for some shelter from the rain and the host very kindly welcomed me (even though i looked like a wet dog) and offered some yummy goodies ! she’s got a big heart and made sure i was comfortable. a lovely cafe with an even better host. i highly recommend and will definitely be back again next time i am in ireland:) thank you so much! hugs from canada💘

Great spot for food. I had the breakfast which was perfectly cooked and the owner created a great atmosphere. Very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend 👌

We tried the irish breakfast and an omelet with tea and coffee. Objectively the food wasn't the best, probably not because of the cooking, I think it comes from the ingredients. Also the person who took the coffee did not finish it. Now the atmosphere was great, we felt very welcomed, and the service was impeccable, they adapted to all our demands, and very friendly.

Lovely cappuccinos and cakes. I had a beautiful Rocky road and my partner had fresh scones. The ambience is cosy and the people are warm and friendly. I'd recommend it if you want a quick bite or a coffee to warm up to.

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast while driving through. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast was lovely. Great spot to stop in.

loved our stop! the hot chocolate and the scones were perfect. what was better the tip “RTE PLAYER”. Faircity and Eastenders…. here we come. The Owner was so much fun…

Ballyroe Heights Hotel

17/03/2024: Have been here for lunch previously, and it was excellent. Recently I attended a wedding ceremony as a guest. I must praise the staff and management who were incredibly professional while being warm and friendly, a perfect mix. The views and location are stunning. Loads of car parking spaces available. This has to be one of the most underrated hotels in the Tralee area. It's fab, go visit and see for yourself.
09/03/2024: Fantastic service. The food was 10/10. Absolutely delicious.
