Sullivan's Royal Hotel and Restaurant in Gort

Excellent food, 5 stars! The perfect traditional, home cooked style meals and very reasonably priced. I loved the dessert menu, you can't get all of the home favourites anywhere else like this.

I think this hotel us one of the best hotels in Ireland the staff are amazing warm friendly nothing is to much it's like home from home we like to Mariead and the rest if the staff for looking after us yesterday we stay all I would not stay any else thanks from my to the amazing O Sullivan family for such a great hotel from the food to the service that Mariead Mary and all of young that there I can't prised you all enough thanks again everyone Grace Tyrrell

Good grub! Highly recommend to stop for dinner. Fish & Chips is always good; light crispy batter. Mmmm....

Myself and my friend were travelling through Gort and stopped for lunch here at Sullivan's Royal hotel. We both ordered their toastie with a side of fries. It was delicious. Exactly what we needed. It was filled with ingredients, very tasty, and toastie perfectly. It was great value for money and filled up us. We ordered tea and soft drinks and each time was quick and Teresa was waiting on our table and was so lovely to chat with. We will definitely visit again on our drive through Gort.

Excellent dishes prepared with care. Excellent service. On our way back from the Cliffs of Moher to Belfast, we stopped in this small town, Gort, where for lunch they recommended the restaurant at the Sullivan's Royal Hotel Ristorante. We hadn't booked, I was with my son, but we immediately found an excellent welcome from Mrs. Mairead who immediately assigned us a table. It's all excellent, with typical Irish cuisine. We were served immediately. Mairead is a good dining room manager. The boys are fast and impeccable in serving. Excellent experience. I highly recommend.

Had a late lunch with my daughter at Sullivans Royal Hotel and you could not fault it. The food was excellent and all the staff was so pleasant and helpful. I would like to compliment all of the staff. We were treated with warmth, friendliness and courtesy from the moment we entered the premises. The food was delicious, served with a smile. We could see how well the staff worked together in a most efficient way. Even though it was busy there was no stress within the staff. Everything was done in a very calm efficient way. This type of service has now become the exception everywhere. Also the prices are noticeably cheaper than anywhere else – some up to 50% savings on other establishments. All in all a lovely experience. We could not recommend Sullivans enough. They are a model for how for service should be provided...

Me and my partner have been there so far 6 times this year. Its a brillant place for food. The staff are wonderful especially a lady by the name of Theresa. We were there yesterday i was not well. My back was in terrible pain . They got me a seat straight away. Food was excellent. I would highly recommend anyone to stay in this Hotel or have food as a stopping point on your way somewhere else. Thank ye all so much for all ye do to make you as comfortable as possible. Thanks again Theresa for all your kind help yesterday, and serving us wonderful food. . We will be back for sure. Hi we stopped here last Sunday for a late lunch it was lovely and welcoming, Teresa who served us couldn't do enough for us food was lovely and promptly served lovely home made bread and butter pudding. We will be back.!!
