Sunshine Cafe in Dublin

PRE- COVID, this restaurant done one of the best Irish breakfasts I ever tasted, I gather they are considering to bring them back, should this happen, I will be back at high speed , JohnMurphy

Amazing experience, delicious food, lovely staff

My husband and I are here tonight on our last night of vacation. It’s a cute place with a lovely atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and our waiter took great care of us. He offered my husband some dates from Nigeria at the end of our meal. The food was excellent as well. So glad we stopped in

Food is delicious, outdoor seating is lovely and the staff is super friendly. Would definitely recommend this place! Got pasta, pizza and the chicken sandwich and they were all great.

Excellent food, good value, friendly service

We ordered lasagna and penne a la siciliana with apple tart to follow. Food was hot and delicious. Service prompt. Only negative comment is the decor. A bit of paint? Music was canned but good/appropriate volume.

I visited this cafe on a Thursday with 5 others. The host, and I'm presuming owner, was very attentive and helpful and put 2 tables together for us as the place isn't that big. There was a nice choice of food on the menu and we all ordered together. 3 out of 6 ordered seabass and chips, 2 ordered burgers and chips, and I ordered soup and chips. The seabass came out, then the burgers and chips came out, and then there was a long wait for the rest. I was last to get all my meal. The host seemed under pressure, not because it was busy, but it seemed he had to do all the work apart from cooking. The chefs being slow added to his pressure. I felt sorry for him as he was trying his best, and the food was nice apart from going cold with the wait. The place itself was a bit run down, the toilets were not the best at all and only had one toilet for women and one for men. There are steps to the toilet so not ideal for wheelchair users. There was seating outside and seating out the back. The menu prices were reasonable but I would not be in a hurry back.

Amazing food and charming staff! Lots of chats and care. Very relaxing and feels like home. Homely food and a nice choice of deserts! Has a lovely green garden!

Wonderful tastes. We chose the upstairs section and ordered falafel wrap and tuna crustini. Both were delicious and served with a small salad. Charming staff and great music.
