Staff was low. Only three, covering orders online, incoming, pizza, chicken and face incoming with a waiting time for chicken around 15-20mins .... Understandably........ So understaffed..... The manager was cooking, taking orders and sorting deliveries. A joke! He should of not had to do that. He apologised we waited over and hour but I regret it only cause of the heavy deliveries coming in also. Staff were very friendly and brought the order to the table. Apologised and all and not their fault. You may profit from delivery but your staff is suffering. Thank you for being kind to my mother. She doesn't hey out often. I will say a craving for chicken won't come again. Staff need more time or management

The Jolly Monk

06/12/2025: The hotel is located in an easily accessible area, right in the heart of the nightlife. The Temple Bar area is a five-minute walk away, making its location a real plus. However, be aware that you'll hear music from the surrounding bars and clubs until late at night—even on the top floor where we stayed. Furthermore, our room was very cold, and the shower only provided lukewarm water, which significantly reduced comfort. The friendly staff and excellent location are positive.
06/11/2025: This is not a 5 star hotel but I'm leaving a 5 star review because it was perfect for me and my two friends. We wanted somewhere city centre for cheap, just for one night. We asked for three single beds and that's exactly what we got. The beds were so comfy, the bathroom was a good size and the shower was lovely. We had everything we needed. We didn't need luxury, just a bed in a warm place after a night out. There's no TV in the room but we didn't need that. There is a tea and Nespresso coffee machine though. You're five minutes away from a Luas or shops, it was perfect. We felt very secure staying there. Although we came back late at night/early morning, we had no issues getting back in. We checked out that morning and asked could we leave our bags while we went out for breakfast and although we came back later than we stated, our bags were kept stored neatly for us. The staff were lovely to deal with, very friendly. The place was decently clean, no issues to report at all. I would definitely stay here again for the same reason

The Eddison

14/09/2025: The Eddison Restaurant was the perfect way to start each morning during our stay at the Dylan Hotel. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and their thoughtful care added a personal touch to every breakfast. The food? Absolutely delicious. Each morning brought a beautifully prepared spread that was both satisfying and refined. Fresh croissants (the chocolate ones were a favorite), vibrant fruits, and rich, aromatic coffee set the tone for the day ahead. The ambiance was bright and relaxed, with just the right balance of elegance and comfort. Whether you're a guest at the Dylan or simply seeking a top-notch breakfast in Dublin, The Eddison delivers a memorable experience with style and heart.
