Went here with some friends for a couple of glasses of wine. Its a lovely intimate space that is a cafe and hair salon during the day. The wine we had was lovely and the staff were really pleasent. The only complaint we would have is that they did not have some of the wines listed on the menu. If they were properly stocked this would have been a 4/5. The food offerings also seemed a bit over priced versus other wine bars in the city.

Coffee was good and reasonable prices for Dublin. The only issue is it took nearly 10 minutes to get our to-go coffee orders with only one person ahead of us.

We had a fantastic girls wine night at Surge. We loved the Christmas lights, table set up was great and the service from the servers was 10/10. Great wine selection and also the meat and cheese was really good quality ! Stunning charcuterie boards and bread/dips. Would definitely go back and think its great for a group get together.

12/03/2024: Recently walked in here with myself and wife after reading menu outside on a recent day trip to Dalkey. Great old world pub feel but not dated . Food did not disappoint . It was amazing !! Perfectly cooked and seasoned . Compliments to the chef once again ! My wife had the beef which was melt in your mouth perfect. I had the pork belly and which was scrumptious everything on the plate really complimented each other . Pints were savage and the service staff were attentive and helpful with any menu questions we had . Would definitely drop in again when in area . Only criticism I have is that it’s not closer to my home !!! Well done all 👏
