I can honestly say the best meal iv ever had.the fillet steak was fabulous. Staff were amazin and barman so friendly. It was my first time there but il defo b back for more of this fabulous food 😍

Lovely food . ..I had fish and chips and i asked for garlic sauce instead of the tartar .....most places would just change the sauce no charge but sweeneys charged me a extra for the garlic sauce 2.50 euro

Not normally in Sweeneys barman Scott was lovely looked after me and the family really great experience

Absolutely pawsome! 🐾 Sweeney’s of Kilbride is hands down one of the best dog-friendly spots we’ve ever been to! We stopped in with our two furry family members, Butch and Sunny, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — tails were wagging all around! The food was exceptional — we humans were just as spoiled as the dogs! You can tell they really care about making everyone, two-legged and four-legged, feel at home. It’s rare to find somewhere that strikes the perfect balance between top-notch service and genuine warmth, but Sweeney’s nails it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal where your dogs are more than just tolerated — they’re truly welcomed. We’ll absolutely be back! 🐶🐶 Thanks again from Butch, Sunny, and the whole pack!

Decor a bit drab, could do with a makeover. The food however was amazing.

Very popular spot with the locals, felt very hurried. Quite limited beer range and for a place that was quite busy felt disappointed that they didnt carry any local brews. Pizza order was missing the pepperoni which was the basis for the pizza, got added after but never really lit up the pizza. I am sure we will give this place another go as we will be in the area regularly

We went to Sweeney’s for the first time and safe to say I’ll definitely be back. The staff were the loveliest people and so helpful and the time management was second to none. You definitely get what you pay for. Couldn’t recommend more
