Our once a week go to place. Food is amazing always fresh. Girls are always smiling and so welcoming. Highly recommend.

5stars doesn't rate it high enough. It was very busy but the waitress was very quick finding us a table for 3. The atmosphere was really chill, like a old country pub, the food was Fabulous as always and the staff greet everybody like an old friend. Complements to the chef on another masterpiece. I don't live local, but make sure I visit whenever I'm near.

Been wanting to try Sweeneys for a while and delighted I did. Food was really good, had the shared combo, fantastic ribs and beef burger. Tasty, hot and a great serving for two people. The staff are super nice and just a lovely atmosphere in the place. Going to try the Sunday roast next time and bring our dog. Highly recommend.

Real gem across the road from Riordan's Church! While the decor is still a traditional country mid 80s pub, it feels a little more special, but can't explain why. The atmosphere is wonderful with the open plan, buzzing, but not but too noisy. But the star of the show is the food. Staff are fantastic. The only downside is a result of it being so popular... Might take a bit for good to arrive. So sit back, enjoy the buzz, and you will be rewarded

Really good food. Definitely recommend. Good staff and the food was brilliant. I ordered a dessert and it was really tasty, I recommend the sticky toffee pudding.

I had one of the best buttermilk burgers I could ever have at this pub . I orders their crispy chicken burger and I must say it was nothing less than delicious. It was the juiciest piece of chicken I’ve ever had and the homemade coleslaw was delectable . The service was on point and the waiter (Cathal) serving our was most friendly and attentive . I will definitely by coming back to this place in the near future .
