Synge & Byrne in Galway

This is a lovely place. Good food and very nice stuff. I'm from Poland and it was such a pleasure to chat with one polish girl from the stuff, also she made me delicious coffee. Thank you if I'll be in Galway again I definitely visit this place one more time.;))

Nice place and spacious. I ordered the soup as the lettuce in the salad options at the counter didn’t look appealing. Pricing seemed high for some of the menu items and there were no glasses available only paper cups. The children’s sausage and chips were very plentiful and well priced. I would go again with the kids and maybe have a hot drink and a piece of cake as their desserts looked lovely.

Tables not cleaned, seating not cleaned, trays not cleaned, inattentive young staff, very disappointing

Ordered some lunch here today (sun dried tomato quiche) that comes in a set with two salads or chips. I chose a beetroot orange and an apple celery salad. The quiche was very nice - however: it was supposed to be hot but it came out lukewarm which was a bit disappointing. The salads were ok, but there was something missing to them.. I’d love to come back to see their other choices and hope that the food is coming out hot next time :)
