What a wonderful place. Returned after 20 years, but the atmosphere was all the same even though the place have had a makeover. Great food, great beer and an average musician. Exactly what I ordered .

I had the Irish beef burger. It came with a fried onion bun on top which was a nice surprise. The beef was fresh and juicy. The chips were thick cut and seasoned well. Great Guinness.

Lugar totalmente orientado al turista y aún así parada obligatoria. Siempre lleno, mucho ambiente, cerveza de la más cara de Dublín, y con una de la mejor música en directo. Personal muy agradable y una gran mayoría son españoles.

Esta es una crítica para el restaurante, aunque se superpone con el pub / bar en general. Vine aquí solo y estaba un poco abrumado. Estaba extremadamente lleno de gente, y finalmente tuve que sentarme agresivamente en el bar (no estaba seguro de si me sentaría o si debería haber intentado encontrar una mesa yo mismo, pero estar solo no estaba seguro de si quería tomar una mesa). Es bastante más grande por dentro de lo que creía. En octubre ya estaba profusamente decorado para Navidad. Pude conseguir algunos aperitivos en el bar; conseguí un plato de queso de lujo que sirvió como una comida bastante llena ya que estaba allí solo. Sin embargo, no había mucho espacio para comer, ya que era un bar bastante estrecho. En general, es un lugar divertido. Me gustó la música y el ambiente. Pero es muy concurrido, caro (mi pinta era unos euros más que otros lugares a los que fui) y sobre todo turistas. No se siente como el tipo de lugar que muchos lugareños están frecuentando. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita como un lugar histórico en Dublín, pero si estuviera de vuelta en Dublín no me sentiría como si tuviera que volver. Podría ser más divertido con un grupo si tienes una mesa para pasar el rato.
