Quick, delicious, cheap, with fantastic service and staff. It's become such a regular lunchtime spot for me, the portions and quality are fantastic, especially at the price point. If you've been on the fence, go next you have the chance!

I eat here on a regular basis and why not? The food is simply and absolutely delicious. No additives, just pure fresh ingredients, always served up piping hot and with big friendly smiles. It is in a great location, a lovely spot to take a bit of time out, get some fantastic food, read the paper, watch the world go by, chat with the friendly staff and leave with a smile on your face. I do think that the shopping centre owners could do a lot more for the Thai Post Team and add some wind barriers to stop the draughts from the nearby entrance doors. After all Thai Pots has increased the footfall in the centre by a considerable amount. Bill

I’ve got a cold. I know, so does half the country… …but, what I usually do when I have a cold is head to my favourite Chinese takeaway and get a hot & sour soup. That’s just what I need to unblock the sinuses and get back the ability to breathe. At lunchtime today, I found myself in town, and happened to be passing by Thai Pots in The Canopy. This tiny, cute little trailer has an extensive menu of 4 different curries: Massaman, Panang, Yellow and Red. You can have them with no meat, or with chicken or beef. Well, needing something with the ability of gelignite to set to work on my nasal cavities, I opted for the red curry, with chicken. Holy Chillies, Batman. Along with it being incredibly fresh and bursting with flavour, it was enough to shift the monster inside me, and I’m now happily breathing through my nose again. The flavours were beautiful, with loads of chickpeas, and taste bud tingling chilli… a first for me is that I’d be more than happy to have this without the chicken, and I don’t think I would have missed it. The lady serving this wonderful food was so chatty and happy, it is a cracking little place to have in the heart of Sligo, and I will most definitely be back… Next time, I hope to go sans man-flu. Tiny trailer - Huge taste. 10/10

The Glasshouse

05/04/2024: Excellent location for a stay in sligo within walking distance to the town. The Hotel could do with a bit of refurbishment as the foyer and some areas are outdated but still very clean. The staff are extremely friendly and makecit a very nice place to visit. The food served is excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.
28/03/2024: The Guinness was good, but not so helpful if you want fresh orange juice in the bar. We were advised to go to the restaurant as they didn’t have any?….surely the bartender could have popped down to get it and not me? Anyway. Generally a nice hotel, pleasant room (we didn’t book a river view). Staff from the hotel were helpful, especially at 2.30am when our neighbours returned home and wanted the world to know they were home. There seemed to be a large group in who were scattered around the hotel, which impacted our stay. The self service breakfast is served to you at the self service counter. Which I couldn’t see what was on offer. And was then served way too much. I hate waste Sligo seems a pleasant town/city, but for the Wild Atlantic Way I’d be inclined to look at a smaller/nearer venue. Good but not brilliant
