Really nice spot. Haven’t been here in years. Great team behind the bar - couldn’t fault it, a really solid local pub.

This is a drinkers bar . There’s a nice mix of regulars and fly by night customers. The bar is named after the foundation of the GAA in 1884 . There’s a massive beer garden with a huge big screen and loads of room. Down to business The pints of stout are expertly crafted with professional pride . The whiskey selection is massive The spots are all there and all of the Red Breasts The Middleton is there along with a lot of lesser known whiskey. The toilets are spotless and the staff are very helpful. There’s a massive amount of GAA memorabilia on the walls .

Pros, good Pub, staff friendly, plenty of room, great beer garden, on a bus route, Chinese next door. Cons none.

Great night, lovely mix of people. Good atmosphere all night and great traditional band. Always good to see people get up and dance together enjoying themselves. A really great night. Lovely staff. Didn't have food so can't comment on it.

Coming here since the 1990s , always a nice clientele and good creamy pints of Guinness

Very good decor, recently renovated, good seating, comfy and warm. Roomy, about 500 occupancy. Descent beer garden. Good number of screens and multi sports showing. My fav Budweiser on tap, no food, Staff .... (Unfotunately) meh.

Lovely pub. Well kept. Very good service. I will be back.

Very nice, safe and chilly place with a big garden

A perfect place to watch sports in a quiet environment! Although the pub is very quiet and usually empty, which can be great if you prefer to avoid crowds. If you are looking for a place to relax and watch games with space to sit, this is ideal. I give it 3 stars because although it is comfortable, sometimes the atmosphere can be a little too calm and boring for some. However, the waiters are very friendly 🤗
