The Abbey Tavern in Dublin

I've never had fish and chips this good, not even in London! The atmosphere is quaint, the service is quick and friendly. If you're visiting Howth, don't miss this pub!

The food was great and the servers were friendly. There's a bar area with music and a more secluded area where you can relax and eat. The pasta with salmon and the apple crumble were very good.

We had aged sirloin: terrible. It seemed freshly defrosted. The rest was salvageable. The service was fast and friendly.

The place is really nice, you can really feel that harbour tavern vibe. We had fish and chips, which was so good! Many thanks to Nessa for taking such great care of my group!

Definitely a place worth considering. The Guinness stew is delicious. The atmosphere is traditional and the staff are very friendly.

Ideal place to try the typical Guinness stew 🤤 We'll return next time we're in Howth. It's not where all the port pubs are and it's less crowded. 🧾 I've attached a meal ticket. The price is very similar to Dublin, but with more quantity. The stew was very well cooked, and the gravy had a very strong and flavorful taste. The only downside was the mashed potatoes, which were a bit thick, but mixed with the stew, they were even better. 🍺 The pint of Guinness was €6.70 🎒 PM rating: 8.5/10

Great historical pub in howth ‘old town’. Well worth the 2 minute walk from the pier. Friendly staff and great live music
