DELICIOUS CORNED BEEF!!! GREAT ENTERTAINMENT!!!

A typical Irish pub in the village of Howt. Not far from the port but far enough from the "commercial area," near the cathedral. The food is good and Irish. Recommended.

Highly recommend the bean burger and the halloumi burger. Minor complaint but please make the desserts a little bit bigger. Service was friendly and efficient

Superb tavern, typical and delicious dishes!

Very tasty, especially the beef & Guinness pie and the bread pudding - we tried the safe dishes in other places later, and they didn't match this.

Excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere. I first visited at Christmas, when the fireplace was lit, creating a warm and cosy setting. I returned in summer and loved it just as much. Howth is a charming seaside village that’s well worth a visit, and The Abbey Tavern is the perfect place to enjoy a meal. It’s easy to get there by DART from Dublin, and the trip is included with the Visitor Leap Card.
