The Angler's Rest in Headford

Lovely little hotel with incredible customer service and a full Irish breakfast every morning. Located nearby to plenty of great attractions - Ross Errily Friary is about 10 minutes away, and Galway and all of its attractions only about an hour.

Stopped in for food and it was really great. Good menu choice

It's not dog friendly. Stopped for lunch, asked if we could bring the dog in, told we could, he is a BIG soft chocolate labrador, walked in got told no big dogs. We could sit outside right next to the carpark and people smoking by the door but with no shelter from weather or fumes we decided against it. Shame really as it looked nice and the staff were nice about it and as we were staying in the area for a week we probably would have gone there a few times.

Lovely place and very friendly staff. They allowed us bring in a small non shedding quiet dog which was great on a day when it was lashing rain. The food was delicious and well priced. The staff were all very attentive even though the place was quite busy.

Had cold meat salad and a pint of Guinness very nice dinners a bit expensive nearly 20 euros midweek so went for the meat salad and enjoyed it. 14.95.came with nice brown loaf
