Nice small cosy pub with two bar areas. The crowd was mostly older with a few younger folk there too. Plenty of screens and a good place to watch the match while having a chat. Easy parking directly across the road in the village castle car park place. Very good pints of Guinness zero. Creamy.

Nice atmosphere & excellent staff. Always a good option for a pint and a chat. They have Hope on tap which is also a huge plus

03/01/2025: Yeah I liked the place it seems to be the place for cover bands at a good price.a little small around the bar area when it's packed
28/10/2024: Visited chalk bar last night. It has been closed for a whole but recently reopened 🙌 The best venue for live music. Great selection of drinks & friendly staff. Always a great night out.

03/03/2025: Cheap Beer. Food is "ok" Attracts a lot of undesirables. Bar staff are very friendly and service is good.
